5. How?
To accurately and professionally complete the Project Scope Statement, the responsible party
must populate the following critical sections based on the project context (ensure parameters.md is referenced for global project variables):
- Detailed Project Scope Description: Comprehensive narrative of the project work, characteristics of the end solution, and boundaries.
- Major Project Objectives and Outcomes: Target business and technical outcomes directly addressed by executing this scope.
- Core Product Deliverables: The primary end-products, technical systems, or physical deliverables generated by the project.
- Project Management and Governance Deliverables: Management plans, status reports, audit logs, and compliance documentation delivered.
- Measurable Acceptance Criteria: Specific, objective, and testable quality conditions required before deliverable formal acceptance.
- Acceptance Authority and Process: Designated stakeholder authority and formal inspection workflow required for sign-off.
- Explicit Out-of-Scope Items: Explicitly documented features, services, or activities that are intentionally excluded from project scope.
- Boundaries and Excluded Support: Operational boundaries clarifying responsibilities not assumed by the project team.
- Identified Project Constraints: Imposed boundaries including hard deadlines, budget caps, regulatory compliance, and technology limits.
- Identified Project Assumptions: Critical planning assumptions regarding resource availability, vendor performance, and dependencies.
